End User Features:
Group Calendar
- Users can access the common database to graphically display
users' free time or automatically find the first available time
based on prospective attendee availability and target time ranges.
Prospective attendees are immediately notified, and RSVPs are
instantly reported to the originator. The ability to
hierarchically manage and display large user lists, as well as
show different levels of schedule detail, makes Synchronize an
effective tool for any size corporation.
Permission/Access
- Decide which users can read and/or edit your appointments,
tasks, reminders, and pop-up notes. Additionally, you may set a
password to restrict users from accessing your calendar.
Resource Management
- The ability to assign attributes to people, places and things.
For example, the attributes of a Synchronize resource such as a
conference room might be "50 person maximum capacity, audio
visual equipment, and networking", the attributes of a Synchronize
user might be "Audit Specialist, Oil Industry." Attributes
are used when creating a meeting or task to help locate resources
and/or users that fit a particular profile.
To-Do Task Lists
- In addition to personal tasks, Synchronize provides a powerful
group task management feature that enables users to instantly
communicate and manage tasks with networked group members located
anywhere around the world. Task management features include:
- the ability to prioritize tasks and provide deadlines to
project team members
- unfinished tasks automatically roll over to the next day's calendar
- completed tasks are recorded with individual delegates completion
dates
Shared Notes
- Shared information forum through the Pop-Up Notes feature.
Attach a note or an entire file to a meeting, reminder, or to-do
task to capture dialog or feedback on any particular topic.
Categories
- Create and assign personal or system-wide categories for
any calendar/task item. Organize related items and display them
in user-selected size, colors and fonts.
Configuration Options
- This workspace customization feature allows users to
personalize their calendars by selecting options that affect
how Synchronize appears and behaves.
Printing
- Customizable printing of your calendar. Print reports of
your completed tasks and contents of pop-up notes.
Reminders
- A list of group and personal reminders.
Calendar View
- Display your schedule in a variety of formats including a
week, two weeks and a month at a time. The schedule for your
entire workgroup can also be seen at a glance.
Recurring Events
- Regularly occurring meetings, tasks or reminders can be
automatically scheduled for any interval.
Search Capability
- Find calendar items by title or by category. Display and
print lists of found items.
Alarms
- Set alarms at user defined intervals preceding an event.
